we dropped in on a neighbor's filipino family party. the patriarch of the house had a little man cave around the back complete with booze, decorative booze related plaques, a vinyl collection, karaoke, and other essentials. he was a sot of cross-eyed, eccentric old man with a crazy laugh and an even crazier, indescribable singing voice. that isn't him up there, though. ^ that would be nick breakin it down. his father also made videos of us singing together. i hope they never see the light of the internet.we made an impromptu stop in san luis obispo so i could see cal poly where nick used to do the college thing. we had dinner at a cajun place he used to like, and it was delicious! coincidentally, the saints won the superbowl.
