I was in this "bad attitude" kind of mood the other day while driving home. I passed by a Carrow's (a diner chain restaurant for those who aren't familiar) and I thought to myself: Who the fuck would eat a Carrow's?
I'm not saying I'm too good for diner chain restaurants or whatever--I've eaten at that Carrows at other peoples' suggestion...but seriously, why would anybody actually suggest something like "Let's go to Carrow's" (or any similar such restaurant), in the first place? Eating at a chain restaurant is acceptable every now and again, but there are so many so-called "picky" (read: unrefined) people who cling to chain restaurants and refuse to try food anywhere interesting. Supporting small, independently owned restaurant businesses feels and tastes better. Seriously, if you wanna pack on some shitty tasting calories you may as well just go to Burger King.
plight of the burbs, when there actually are no other choices but shitty chain restaurants
ReplyDeleteno way, there are tons of places to eat
ReplyDeletei totally agree with you on this...but somehow i end up at tgifridays on friday nights and i wonder why
ReplyDeletei've actually always wanted to try that place, haha. i used to eat their frozen food sometimes....yeah, chain restaurants are like frozen food. sometimes you eat it in a bind, but if you eat it all the time it's just kind of sad, you know?
ReplyDeleteWhenever I ate Carrow's I'd get sick. HATED IT
