In order to keep up with the changing times, Jeopardy! changed its format from a regular game show to a "quiz reality" show.  The contestants would all be people who had drama with one another.  In addition to answering trivia questions, Alex Trebek would prod them about their personal lives...by the end of most episodes people would end up in jail.
